We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As an SLP, you will be responsible for Evaluation, progress reports and treating individuals with communication disorders, including speech, language, voice, and fluency. You will work closely with Early Intervention clients, providing assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic techniques to help improve their communication skills and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Developing individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient goals.
- Providing therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to improve communication and swallowing abilities.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, educators, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic care.
- Providing education and support to patients, families, and caregivers regarding communication strategies and techniques.
- Participating in continuing education to stay updated on advancements in the field and maintain licensure.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, interpreting results, and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Commitment to professional development and maintaining ethical standards in clinical practice.
- CPR certification may be required, depending on the healthcare setting.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
