Specialty Role Players

Terrestris, LLC is now hiring Specialty Role Players (SRP) and actors to participate in National Guard training exercises across West Virginia. Exercises are 13 days in length in early April 2024 and will include weekdays and weekends. These roles are essential for creating realistic, scenario-based training exercises to prepare our forces for diverse operational environments. The selected individuals will portray various roles including Auxiliary logistical support members, members of a local criminal organization, Embassy Special Operations Forces Laison Element (SOFLE), Auxiliary transportation members, local experts / center of gravity (COG), Partner Force commander, Local Governmental officials, US Regional Security Officer, US Defense Attache, Partner Force Laison Officer, exiled members of enemy forces, A non-governmental organization (NGO) member, local national medical professionals, local high ranking law enforcement officer, businessmen from the adversary country, Local National Territorial Defense Force (TDF) commander, Auxiliary intelligence members, and Auxiliary assessment members within simulated military settings. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the readiness and effectiveness of our military personnel.

Duties

Terrestris SRP / Actors will assist in providing realistic training aimed at purposefully strengthening security and resilience through systematic preparation for threats that pose the greatest risk to the security of the nation. Specialty Role Players will create the geo-political landscape of the exercise in order to expand and strengthen communication, coordination and integration skills, providing opportunities for exercise participants to practice essential non-combat skills. As such, SRPs will be asked to play multiple roles to portray various stakeholders in the simulated operation.

SRPs will be asked to play multiple parts and will be required to act and improvise in multiple scenarios across the duration of the exercise.

Requirements

• Must not have an existing condition that requires special needs or medical assistance.

• Must be capable of unassisted walking over rugged terrain for distances up to one-half mile at a time.

• Must be capable of standing, sitting, or lying on uneven and dirty surfaces that may be very cool or very warm for an extended period.

• Willingness and ability to follow all coordinating instructions for the execution of roles assigned.

• Must be prepared to conduct up to two meetings with training audiences during each operational period and multiple roles as required.

• This exercise is a dynamic exercise and meeting schedules may change based on RP and training audience interactions.

• Personnel identified as Defense Attaché shall have experience as a senior member of an embassy country team.

• Personnel identified as a Regional Security Officer shall have experience as a mid-level member of a country team with law enforcement knowledge and experience.

• Personnel identified as members of US forces, auxiliary members, members of partner forces, and local nationals with critical exercise information shall have experience as a mid-level officer, warrant officer, or non-commissioned officer with a strong operational background and knowledge of SOF.

• Must be able to act-out, improvise and otherwise simulate mental and physical injuries to create a realistic experience for trainees.

• Must be willing and able to work non-standard hours.
