Job Summary and Qualifications
As a member of the Cardiac Cath Lab team, you will ensure optimal patient care and safety at all times. - You will perform all functions related to physiologic recording, scrubbing, and circulation within the catheterization laboratory
- You will use appropriate knowledge and skills to monitor, assess, and provide nursing intervention to patients prior to, during and after invasive cardiac procedures
What qualifications you will need:
- Current Registered Nurse License
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BCLS certification
- CCRN preferred
- Successful completion of cardiac dysrhythmia course
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
- AA Degree
- B.S.N or B.A. preferred
- 1 - 2 years of full-time equivalent or more prior experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab, Critical Care experience, and or similar nursing experience in interventional procedures
Riverside Community Hospital is a large acute care facility with 517 beds, established in 1901. It has the most extensive Emergency Room and Level I Trauma Center in the Inland Empire region and is the primary recipient of STEMI (heart attack) cases in Riverside County. The hospital is accredited as a Chest Pain Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center and has a HeartCare Institute that offers both invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures. Riverside has a Center of Excellence for Surgical Weight Loss and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, which it is very proud of.
