At Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital and Inland Valley Hospital we are looking for exceptional Acute Experienced Registered Nurses who share our vision and values. Program Details: 

Application Period: March 8th  – March 31st

Program will begin May 20

Interviews to be held Mid April 

The ICU New to Specialty Program is 12 weeks of didactics, hands-on learning experience and clinical preceptorship. This program is not for NEW GRAD RNs. The minimum experience requirement is 1 year of being employed as RN in an ACUTE HOSPITAL. 

This full-time opportunity offers 36-hours per week, full benefits, with possibility of day or night shift schedule.  There is an opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

About our Hospitals: 

 

Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California, is a licensed 122-bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission. It is Southwest Riverside County's only designated Trauma Center and a county-designated Paramedic Base Station. The hospital performs more than 4,000 surgeries a year, and has an average of 4,000 Emergency Department visits per month. The hospital features a Bariatric Weight-Loss Surgery Center of Excellence and the region’s only Total Joint Center.

 

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California, is a 120 bed acute-care hospital with the region's only Pediatric Emergency Services team (for children 14 and under) provided by board certified Rady Children’s emergency medicine physicians. Rancho Springs Hospital also provides the area's only OB/Emergency Department program, which gives expectant mothers 24/7 on-site access to OB/GYN physician coverage. The Childbirth Center at Rancho Springs Hospital is the largest in the region and features spacious family-friendly private suites. Rancho's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Children’s.

Staff Registered Nurses are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, providing assessments, treatment and care on assigned units. Will provide care for patients throughout the continuum of care, including management of pain, invasive lines and surgical drains. Staff Registered Nurses will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospitals’ Core Values and the hospitals mission statement

Qualifications

1-2 years acute care experience preferred

Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.

 

REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS

Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
BLS (AHA) certification

ACLS (AHA) certification

NIH Stroke Certification
