Essential Functions (Key Responsibilities)
Partner with teams across the brand to review, edit and distribute communications to employees and franchisees
Develop a wide range of content, including press releases, media briefing documents, brand stories, presentations, employee communication, and content for the brand’s corporate LinkedIn page
Oversee the distribution of brand-related press releases on the wire
Monitor the media relations mailbox and triage media requests
Monitor the brand’s media coverage in national, local, and trade outlets, prepare weekly monitoring reports for the marketing leadership team and a quarterly share of voice analysis
Provide communications support for corporate social responsibility programs, including No Kid Hungry, St. Jude’s, and the Mobile Relief Diner
Support the management of the brand’s newsroom on Dennys.com, ensuring content is updated and relevant
Oversee and update the Brand Communication editorial calendar
