Primary focus for this position is monitoring international inbound drayage/transload transportation to MasterBrand (US) and Wood Crafters (MX) facilities while continuously improving our internal network and provider portfolio to maximize savings and performance.

Key Accountabilities

Responsible for working closely with the internal teams and external providers to ensure consistent visibility of cargo delivery schedules while maintaining and reporting critical elements to cross-functional teams (materials, sourcing, receiving plants) and logistics leadership.

• Maintaining effective communication between internal and external stakeholders
• Fostering and developing strong business relationships with drayage and transload providers
• Proactively reporting notable changes to the transit time that can impact on-time arrival to the facility
• Monitoring service levels and performance of drayage/transload providers
• Troubleshooting and eliminating data inconsistencies in destination management platform
• Reporting increases in weekly international container arrivals that could exceed facility’s ability to receive shipments
• Regularly evaluating current routings for efficiency and cost optimization
• Initiating continuous total cost improvement projects to meet and exceed company objectives
• Overseeing hot cargo movements and expedites to ensure seamless delivery
• Gathering, compiling, and analyzing quotations from carriers
• Finding efficiencies through automation efforts of day-to-day tasks
• Reviewing invoices for accuracy and processing payments
• Other duties, including ad-hoc optimization efforts as assigned
• Limited travel might be required as needed

• Excellent computer skills in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Teams, MS Outlook)
• Exceptional verbal, written, communication and customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure in a time sensitive environment
• Practical knowledge of transportation terminology preferred
• Proven experience in thorough review and analyses of large data sets
• B.S. degree in business, supply chain, geography or logistics preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in transportation/ supply chain/ logistics field or equivalent service with MasterBrand
• Proficiency in Spanish language welcome
