The Logistics Specialist II role is responsible for handling administrative processes in support of Promethean's logistics and warehousing activities. This role will support the coordination of inbound and outbound order activity through Promethean's North American warehouses, support the North American Logistics Manager on strategic initiatives, and be responsible for Promethean's North American Damage in Transit/Lost in Transit program, along with document and computer system support.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that Outbound Orders are transacted, processed, and delivered in line with both customer requirements and internal SLAs
- Coordinate and be responsible for Prometheans Damage in Transit and Lost in Transit program
- Coordinate with external transport companies to ensure prompt resolution of all shipment issues in a customer facing manner
- Create and supply shipping and supporting documents to allow effective processing of shipments
- Support Logistics strategic initiatives as required
- Administrative activities in support of Operations processes
- Local travel to Atlanta warehouse 2 -3 times a week and monthly travel to Promethean Alpharetta office
Job Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrable logistics administration experience (1 -3 years)
- Knowledge of warehousing and transport best practices
- Knowledge of local logistics and customs regulations and requirements
- Strong IT literacy
- Good communication skills
- Strong time management skills
Hourly Pay: $24.00 - $28.85 + Bonus Eligible
