Job description

The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Financial Reporting team. Our primary goal is to provide exceptional administration services to our clients’ while interacting with Fund Accounting teams, auditors, printers, and other SEI personnel. As a Financial Reporting specialist, you will participate in the preparation of financial statements for various clients in accordance with the regulatory and /or client deliverables calendar.
What you will do:
In the Financial Reporting function, you will be responsible for drafting of the annual, quarterly and other financial statements as applicable for clients. In addition, you will support the internal and external review for these documents. To do this, you will prepare and provide the necessary documentation to clients and, where applicable, assist in filings with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) in accordance to the regulatory deadlines.
You will assist in managing communications with the fund accounting teams and as necessary, with external auditors, on Financial Reporting issues to proper resolutions.
You will provide administrative support to the team by scheduling and facilitating kick-off meetings for each client deliverable prior to Financial Reporting period end. Additionally, for mutual funds, you will be asked to contribute to the preparation of Board related materials and to support the completion of the designated sections of the annual prospectus update for various clients in accordance with the regulatory calendar.
You will communicate with appropriate internal teams or client teams to resolve open issues and questions, reaching out to internal technology support and vendor support when necessary to resolve any production issues or system support queries.

What we need from you:
BA / BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mutual fund or alternative investment funds industry.
Experience with financial statement preparation preferred.
Strong accounting and Financial Reporting skills are preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
The self-motivation and drive to handle multiple client deliverables without sacrificing excellence or quality.
Strong written and verbal communication skills as you will primarily communicate with your clients and other contacts through email and/or phone calls.
Strong customer service skills as you will be communicating daily with internal and external clients.

Compensation:
The base salary for this position is $67,000/yr - $105,000/yr
