This position is responsible to coordinate, manage and administer the training program for the site including providing training in job-specific areas, where applicable.
Your main responsibilities will be:

• Performs mostly standard finance, controlling and accounting related activities in a timely manner and/or develops basic financial analysis
• Ensures relevant financial, controlling and accounting reports are prepared in accordance to rules and regulations
• Maintains accurate financial data and reports for submission to senior management or account books, for example creditors and debtors ledger; and sales, purchase, and cash journals
• May classify, code and record financial transactions and post entries to the general ledger, check balance statements and other information provided by financial institutions and/or verify and process accounts payable and receivable and other financial transactions such as bank deposits

• Reviews coding of purchase requisitions, purchase orders and invoices to ensure correct accounts are used for accurate cost distribution in reporting.
• Maintains the local filing requirements for critical backup information.
• Prepares monthly and annual tax submissions for local and state governments including property and sales and use taxes.
• Responsible for local A/P and A/R duties to support the US Shared Services organization.
• Actively involved in recommendations for improvements to work processes.
• Handles all customer and vendor rebates along with sales commissions.
• Distributes and reconciles monthly Pcard statements.
• Ensures local tenants are charged appropriately monthly and the costs to maintain their dwellings are accurately captured.
• Supports local, divisional, and group reporting compliance with IFRS in a timely and accurate manner.
• Supports internal, external, and other financial, tax, and internal control audits.

• Assist Controller with production of monthly management reports, budget packages and forecasting data as required.
• Reconciles intercompany payables and receivables with multiple companies, including the monthly payment process.

What we expect from you:

• Experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel required.
• Experience in large scale accounting business systems preferred, SAP experience desired.
• The ability to work independently and to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills required.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• 3+ years experience in Accounting or Finance function.
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience in a manufacturing accounting environment a plus.

Pay Details: $61.00 to $81.00 per year
