Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products, and petrochemicals. We are currently seeking an Associate Systems Specialist for support of the Oracle application. This person will work effectively to provide technical support for developing and supporting content management applications. This position will include project related tasks, mobile application development, big data and analytics, ERP systems and/or midstream commercial systems. Additionally, this position will support our business users, participate in all relevant change management activities, and overall service delivery and customer satisfaction. This will require interaction with core business users and the need to work as a team member of a large Oracle support team.
- Provides technical development and support for the existing Oracle eBusiness Systems Modules: WebCenter Content 11g (ECM, Stellent) and WebCenter Portal Applications.
- Collaborates with customers to ascertain system specifications and business/technical requirements to create specification documents that meet business needs.
- Responsible for completion of all required Change Management tasks and relevant SOX control requirements (if applicable).
- Utilize industry accepted project management principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices throughout the project life cycle (when applicable).
- Acquire and utilizes business knowledge by taking advantage of available resources (internet, books, periodicals, classes/workshops, conferences, etc.) to develop and deliver business solutions.
- Tracking deliverable and provide reporting to management as needed.
- Willing to travel up to 10%.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in MIS, CS, CIS, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or related technical degree.
- GPA of 3.0 or better.
- Experience with technical support of Oracle eBusiness Systems modules (Financials/SCM/ EAM/Projects) including Release 12 preferred.
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL & XML preferred.
- Experience with Oracle tools: Oracle Forms and Reports; BI Publisher, etc. preferred.
- Experience with Linux, Unix, developing shell scripts preferred.
- Experience with Java programming is preferred.
- Experience with the backend table structures for Oracle any eBusiness system module preferred.
- Experience working with business applications as modules of a larger enterprise system.
- Good understanding of Oracle or SQL Server databases preferred.
- Experience with integrating business applications with ECM systems is preferred.
- Experience working in a multi-developer, team environment is preferred.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) is preferred.
- Experience with an Enterprise Content Management platform (ideally WebCenter Content or Stellent) is preferred.
