Our office is located in Bakersfield, CA and we offer services throughout Kern, Visalia, and Kings counties and sometimes farther afield.
The pay range for this California position is $20.00- $35.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. NV5's Bakersfield, CA office is seeking Field Technicians and Special Inspectors with experience in one or more of the following:
- soil inspection and testing
- reinforced concrete
- masonry
- spray applied fireproofing
- structural steel/welding inspection or non-destructive testing
Qualifications
Candidates should have one or more of the following:
- ACI Level I Field Technician, ICC reinforced concrete, AWS CWI, ICC Structural Masonry, ICC Fireproofing, ICC Structural Steel Bolting or Welding, certified welding inspector or NDT (ultrasonic, magnetic-particle or liquid penetrant).
- DSA Structural Masonry Inspectors are highly sought
- Caltrans Certifications through JTCP and Field Certifications.
