About Us: Soliant Education, in partnership with a school district in New Jersey andis actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team onsite. As a W2 contractor through Soliant Education, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with diverse needs within a collaborative educational environment.
Position Overview: As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere for students with unique requirements. This full-time, onsite position offers the benefits of a W2 contractor status through Soliant Education, providing stability and opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide differentiated instruction tailored to meet the unique learning styles of each student.
- Collaborate with general Education Teachers, parents, and support staff to foster an inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting instructional strategies as necessary.
- Utilize diverse teaching methods, materials, and technology to enhance student learning.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
- Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
- Strong understanding of various learning disabilities and effective strategies to address them.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.
