Form of workArisa Health is seeking candidates to fill a Special Education Teacher position at our Therapeutic Day Treatment program in Springdale. Candidates must have a current Arkansas Special Education Teaching certification, or have a current Arkansas Teaching certification and be willing to obtain certification in Special Education. A bachelor's degree is required for this position.
Candidates should have experience working with Individualized Education Plans, 504s, and behavioral/functional support plans as well as experience with statewide testing. The ability to work collaboratively with a team, good communication skills, patience, flexibility, and good time management skills are required. The Special Education teacher will be providing classroom instruction to students with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
Work hours: Full Time, Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. during the academic year.
