To assist Spanish speaking members and potential members with their Credit Union needs. Provide information, assistance, and education on a variety of products and services. Work as a team with other credit union departments to create a seamless experience. Serve as the point of contact for all member and potential members whose primary language is Spanish primarily interacting with the Credit Union through virtual channels. This role will facilitate the interaction between the Spanish speaker and the CU personnel, if the interpreter is unable to handle the transaction or inquiry. Serving as liaison to pair the Spanish speaker with the correct department and role to get the transaction or question handled.

Translate a question or request clearly and accurately, conveying phrasing and intention as it relates to the subject.

Convert dialogue and convey the intent of the original speaker, understanding that many idioms and slang terms do not translate exactly between languages.
