ISA also provides education & training to federal government agencies as well as private sector companies and academic institutions in the areas of intelligence analysis, budget formulation policy development, and more. Our company also delivers systems engineering and engineering management services to federal clients that focus on the design, development, integration, and management of complex systems.

Job Description:

The DAF SC2 Space Intelligence SME plays a key role in overseeing the application of space-oriented intelligence throughout SC2 focus areas. The role includes identifying potential risks, developing protocols to reduce or manage those risks, and making recommendations that support SF decision-makers' ability to act and avoid or mitigate strategic risks as it relates to space.

Responsibilities:

The DAF SC2 Space Intelligence Analyst SME identifies courses of action for protecting our information as well as collecting data from external threats. The Intelligence Analyst SME is essential to strategic and operational planning and executing. Responsible for analyzing data, coordinating with other services and organizations, and determining the capabilities and vulnerabilities of an adversary. Duties:

  • Lead and perform intelligence activities across the full range of military operations.
  • Oversee the analysis and merging of collected intelligence.
  • Develop intelligence plans and policies.
  • Produce intelligence analysis.
  • Exchange intelligence with other services and organizations.
  • Integrate intelligence with strategic and operational planning.
  • Provide Information Operations (IO) program support for the development and management of Space Force service-level information operations (IO) policies and programs, including the Department of the Air Force Strategy Coordination Cell (DAF SC2)
  • Provide IO, operations security (OPSEC), deception Military Information Support Operations (MISO), Sensitive Activities (SA), Counter Intelligence (CI), Publicly Available Information (PAI), Identity Management (IdM), competitive activities planning, and strategic engagement initiatives planning subject matter expertise support to the staffing and development of concepts, strategies, policies, exercises, capability development documents, assessments, and program funding requests for the DAF SC2

Other Duties: Duties, responsibilities, and activities can change at any time based on project requirements. These changes will be communicated by your supervisor. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Clearance Required: TS/SCI eligible w/ CI polygraph. Currently possessing TS/SCI preferred Experience Required: 3 Years minimum supporting senior headquarters positions (required); over 5 years' experience (preferred). Combatant Command, Joint Staff, Air or Space Staff, Major Command, staff officer/planning experience preferred.

Education: Bachelor's degree (required) in sciences, humanities, social sciences, structured analysis, engineering or mathematics (preferred). Master's degree (preferred) Certification: Joint Qualified Officer (JQO) or equivalent experience preferred


Clearance Required:

Applicants must have at least an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain a clearance at the TS/SCI level. Preference will be given to those who have an active TS/SCI clearance. Applicants must be able to submit documentation establishing U.S. Person status upon hiring. All ISA employees are required to uphold and maintain trustworthiness and suitability requirements of the U.S. federal government

The salary range for this position is just one component of ISA's total compensation package for employees.
