U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is the largest investigative arm of the Department of Homeland Security, responsible for enforcing the nation’s immigration and customs laws that protect national security and public safety. The Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force Fusion Center (OFC) was initiated by the Department of Justice in March 2004 to provide enforcement assistance for the most significant drug trafficking organizations and related crime. The OFC has expanded its assistance to investigation of broader international and domestic organized criminal activity.
We are seeking Intelligence Analysts to provide Intelligence Analyst support services to ICE, Homeland Security Investigations and be assigned to the OFC and the International Organized Crime Intelligence and Operations Center (IOC-2). A major portion of this work involves research and writing.
Intelligence Analysts supporting the mission essential requirements of the OFC and the IOC-2 must perform analysis and production tasks. OFC and IOC-2 contract Intelligence Analysts must collect, review, interpret, evaluate, and integrate data from multiple sources preparing comprehensive customized intelligence reports relevant to identified time-sensitive areas of interest for ICE Government Program Managers.
Location: OFC, 2677 Prosperity Ave, Fairfax VA and/or IOC-2 , located at Special Operations Division located at 14560 Avion Parkway, Chantilly, VA
Responsibilities:
- Provides specialized intelligence and threat analysis and production support.
- Accesses and performs research on designated automated intelligence databases for identifying information of interest to the customer, downloading the identified information to an appropriate medium, and editing the information into format(s) to be specified by the customer.
- Provide intelligence and threat analysis of the information that is tailored to the customer's requirements.
- Develop documents, summaries, reports, and presentations. Communicate analytical finds in briefings or discussions with customers. Present briefings to key personnel.
Required Experience:
- Three (3) or more years of general experience in analysis with federal, state or local government agency, law enforcement agency, or private industry.
- One (1) or more years of experience writing Intelligence reports and obtaining data from various sources and compiling the data into reports.
- Proficient in general Microsoft Word processing software.
Security Clearance Requirement(s):
- Active Secret clearance required for facility access, High Risk Public Trust vetting for access to law enforcement sensitive information.
- Favorable Entrance on Duty decision or suitability determination by ICE.
