As a Sous Chef at Calle Sol Latin Cafe, your responsibilities include:

• Kitchen Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate our culinary team to maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene.
• Quality Control: Ensure consistent quality and taste of all dishes through meticulous attention to detail and recipe adherence.
• Cost Management: Manage food costs, inventory, and wastage to maximize profitability while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Guest Experience: Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless and delightful dining experience for our guests.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume, full-service restaurant or similar establishment.
• Proficiency in Latin American cuisine is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a culinary team.
• Creative flair and passion for exploring new culinary trends and flavors.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Food safety certification is a plus.
