The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Description
The Regional Manager, Property Engineering, GRS (Global Risk Solutions) is responsible for maximizing the impact of a regional Risk Engineering team on the success of our underwriting operations and
customer risk-improvement activities within our large-commercial property portfolio.

• Account Engineering: Manages the effectiveness of Account Engineering staff in the delivery of prospect qualification, account reviews, stewardships, service plans, key location visits, risk improvement and broker communications.
• Field Operations: Responsible for all regional activities and results in accordance with established business plans. Emphasis on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of field visits, report writing, plan reviews, recommendation compliance, loss mitigation, and risk-improvement.
• Continuously evolves our organization by identifying areas where efficiency and effectiveness of our processes and systems can be improved. Uses weekly team meetings and other channels to identify ideas and elevate for discussion.
• Workload/Resource Management? Actively manages the efficient and effective deployment of resources. Drives responsibility for service planning and survey ordering across team.
• Leads by example through coaching and mentoring to ensure staff has appropriate technical skills to meet all objectives. Recruits, develops, and manages their team to create a high-performing, results-oriented culture.
• Applies experience and excellent engineering judgment as a technical resource to Account Engineers, Risk Engineers, underwriting, and customers, as needed.
• Works closely with Division Underwriting Managers to ensure team is exceeding underwriting and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience in risk-engineering and large-commercial property insurance as normally acquired through a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and at least 10 years of related experience, some of which should be in a leadership capacity.
• Ability to collaborate, lead, and create a positive work environment through effective open communication (listening, writing clearly, constructive feedback, etc.).
• Must be able to build relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Professional certification in one or more of the following areas: PE, CFPS, CPCU, CRM and ARM desirable.
