Job Description
Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a Sourcing & Procurement Associate Director for a company that constantly faces challenges in neuroscience to deliver innovative and vital solutions. This position leads the identification, assessment, selection, negotiation, execution of contracts and relationship with key vendors, and will contribute to the corporate Sourcing & Procurement processes, compliance reporting and financial tracking. Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed sourcing strategies including ex-US regions, optimize the vendor basis, and continue improving vendor performance from both strategic and operational perspectives
- Strong track record of identifying saving opportunities and executing sourcing projects proactively
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with senior executives and department owners
- Assess current vendors and provide insights in bringing new vendors as needed. Vendor benchmarking experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Work closely with the rest of the Sourcing team to align and improve current sourcing processes.
- Act as liaison between internal/external stakeholders on vendor contracts and budgets. Manage change orders, risk-reward proposals, earnbacks, volume discounts, and other pricing terms
- Collaborate with the financial planning team on vendor cost forecasting, budgeting, and saving validation
Requirements:
- BS/BA or equivalent combination of relevant education
- Experience working with international vendors in Europe and working in their time zones as needed
- Experience using e-sourcing tool such as Coupa to conduct the RFP/vendor selection process electronically
- Familiar with sourcing saving report methodology and associated tools such as Smartsheet
- Category knowledge of G&A/Direct materials/Manufacturing vendors in a pharma/biotech firm
- Strong data analysis skills and financial reporting capabilities
