ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:
- Act as a project leader, developing and gaining buy-in for global, enterprise-wide improvement programs and projects in alignment with key elements of corporate strategy, including but not limited to VAVE, lean/Kaizen supplier events, & supplier summits
- Improve material, processes, and training programs focused on the MSA Operating System and Lean principles
- Guide the planning, material development, and execution of supplier continuous improvement events
- Partner with program stakeholders to identify short and long term objectives to support business goals and coach on tactical strategies to achieve desired results
- Proactively and effectively influence necessary members of management and other opinion leaders to identify, address and eliminate obstacles in order to promote sourcing-related continuous improvement
- Lead development & change management regarding updates to systems & processes in support of continuous improvement initiatives
- Examine and evaluate areas of sourcing improvement after implementation to identify refinements needed
- Track and communicate metric / KPI results using defined tools and documents, in order to articulate the efficiency gains of process / project improvements
Qualifications
Education & experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent
This position is available at 2 levels, based on experience:
Level I:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industry as CI leader/Specialist
- Experience leading workshops at office & shop floor and performed improvements implementation.
- Extensive experience in training and deploying Lean tools in office and manufacturing
- Lean / Six Sigma MBB or BB formation (or equivalent)
Level II:
- 5+ years of experience in industry as CI leader/Specialist (in addition to Level I requirements
Education & experience preferred:
- Masters degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent preferred
- Plant Operations Management
- Knowledge of MSA-OS
- Knowledge in SAP & Excel/Power BI
- Knowledge in process automation and digitization
