Position Definition:
- The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Ultrasonographer) provides diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures.
- The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is responsible for daily operations of the sonographic laboratory, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment processes.
- The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer maintains a high standard of medical ethics and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures as they evolve.
- Successful candidates will have a passion for customer service excellence, team work and enjoy working with the public.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Active certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
- General, OB/GYN and DVT experience a must.
- Baslic Life Support (BLS) required.
