Position Summary

The Solutions Specialist plays a crucial role in leading the project management and setup of client benefit plans and workflows in isolved People cloud (our HRIS/HCM software). They will work closely with new and existing clients and brokers to gather and understand plan design details and ensure a seamless enrollment experience for employees. Additionally, they collaborate closely with internal teams and our vendors/partners to configure and maintain various file feed connections and serve as back-up support for the implementation process and payroll processing for new and existing clients.


Essential Responsibilities and duties

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Benefits Administration
    • Responsible for the timely and accurate setup of client benefit plans in isolved - full implementation of benefit plan rules, details, rates, text and documents.
    • Assist implementation and coordinate with client stakeholders and brokers to gather all necessary client information and plan design details required to implement benefit programs.
    • Identify, communicate, and mitigate benefits implementation project risks.
    • Contribute to the evolution and improvement of the benefit implementation process and how we can more efficiently meet the needs of the customer.
    • Assist in project managing the open enrollment process and creating workflows for new clients and existing clients during major annual enrollment periods.
  • HRIS Implementation, Technology and Payroll Support
    • Project manage time and attendance module configuration in isolved for new clients. Provide training and support to end-users on time and attendance module setup, usage, and troubleshooting.
    • Configure and maintain file feed setups within isolved to transmit data accurately and security to other systems. Collaborate with vendors/partners as needed to establish and maintain file feed connections.
    • Configuring and testing GL accounts in the payroll system to ensure mapping aligns with client payroll data for accurate expense allocation and reporting. Review and update GL configurations to reflect changes in client needs.
    • Assist clients with generating and/or customizing reports to meet client specifications.
    • Serve as a point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries and provide timely resolution or escalate issues as necessary.
    • Serve as back-up support for new client implementations.
    • Serve as back-up support for payroll processing.
    • Stay apprised of ongoing isolved release notes and educate internal team members as needed.

  • Strong computer skills for working daily in HRIS/HCM software and Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience working with isolved People Cloud is a plus.

Education/Experience

  • Payroll processing experience (min 3 years)
  • Software implementation experience
  • Benefits administration experience preferred
  • Experience working with human capital management (HCM) systems, SaaS, CRM, or project management technology - experience working in isolved People Cloud is a plus.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • This position operates in a hybrid work environment.
  • This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers/printers.
  • Travel within the US 10% of the time for client meetings and industry events.
