SAIC has an immediate need for a System Engineer to support the IFMC AMD Mission Command Product Office.
Job Description:
Assist in developing system level concepts that provide solutions to problems that often involve multiple systems from multiple product offices. These concepts define external interfaces, outline system behavior, performance, and acceptance criteria necessary to support HW and SW engineering teams. Tasks may also include leading reviews and adjudicating comments made against the concepts. Concept development will utilize a model-based system engineering (MBSE) approach in an Agile workflow and environment.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience; four (4) years of experience are accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:
Desired Skills:
- System engineering experience in support of DoD programs is highly desired, especially in an Army Air and Missile Defense program
- Experience creating models in Cameo or MagicDraw using SysML and UAF
- Experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence and SAFe© Agile
- Must be able to acquire or possess a US Secret security clearance
