Job Description:
Job Summary
This position provides customized solutions for UPS customers to enhance their transportation systems and generate non-package revenues for Small Package, Freight, and SCS. He/She analyzes customer requirements and information to determine solutions that will assist in delivering products to their customers more efficiently and develops project scopes to effectively deliver customer solutions. This position supports Solutions Engagement Resources (SERs) to help grow the customer solutions business and keeps up-to-date on industry trends and technology developments.
Responsibilities:
Completes specific programming activities (e.g., SQL SSIS and BizTalk integrations, C# Windows Services, etc.) to deliver both routine and custom programs for supporting business functions.
Provides testing for both routine and custom functionality to complete and deliver assignments.
Seeks clarification on issues and approvals for assignments’ modifications to ensure quality deliverables.
Obtains feedback from customers to ensure solutions meet their needs.
Provides subject matter expertise to increase Customer Solutions knowledge and understanding.
Keeps Customer Solutions project stakeholders informed of project progress.
Analyzes data and interprets the results to make recommendations for solutions and evaluates solutions prior to implementation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
Experience using Microsoft Office Visual Studio and BizTalk products or an equivalent software
Experience in MS SQL 2016 database development and analysis
Experience in data manipulation and transformation
This position is a FLEX Location - The position allows employees to work from home, but if the requirement changes in the future, the employee may need to report to a nearby building.
Compensation and Benefits:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $ 28.70/hour to $ 53.10/hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
