Overview

Quorum's Global Customer Care business unit is looking for an experienced Multimedia Designer, who excels at making complex software platforms easy to understand and use. And understands how to create instructional videos, illustrations, and graphics for different purposes and audiences. We work in an agile, fast-paced environment, and this is a fantastic opportunity for people who thrive in such a culture and are passionate about making a real impact on the employee and customer experience we provide. The ideal candidates will have experience using Camtasia, and the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.

Responsibilities

• Create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts for various projects, ensuring they align with the brand identity and project requirements.
• Develop and edit videos, incorporating animations, special effects, closed captioning, and sound to enhance the overall multimedia experience.
• Develop interactive elements, such as infographics, or presentations to engage users and enhance the overall user experience.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, SMEs, content creators, and developers, to understand project goals and contribute multimedia solutions.
• Utilize various design and multimedia software tools proficiently to create high-quality content, staying updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
• Maintain consistency in design elements across different platforms and projects to reinforce the brand identity.
• Plan and create storyboards for multimedia projects, outlining the visual flow and interaction for effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Address design challenges creatively, finding solutions that balance aesthetic appeal with project goals and technical requirements.
• Ensure the quality of multimedia content, reviewing and refining designs to meet project specifications and client expectations.
• And other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
• 3+ years experience in multimedia design, with a portfolio showcasing a variety of projects
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design), video editing tools, and other relevant multimedia applications
• Experience in animation, motion graphics, and understanding of storytelling through dynamic visuals
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to understand technical content, communicate well with subject matter experts, and translate technical content to non-technical staff
• Attention to detail in design execution, ensuring high-quality multimedia content, and being a deadline-oriented demonstrated team player.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Audiate or similar audio editing software
