Solar Sales Consultant

Duties:
- Conduct consultations with potential customers to assess their solar energy needs and provide information on solar products and services
- Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and how it can save them money
- Analyze customers' energy usage and recommend appropriate solar solutions
- Prepare and present customized solar proposals to customers, including system design, cost estimates, and financing options
- Collaborate with the sales team to close deals and meet sales targets
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new products, and government incentives related to solar energy

Qualifications:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide customers through the decision-making process
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively explain complex concepts to customers
- Knowledge of solar energy systems, including photovoltaic (PV) panels, inverters, and battery storage systems
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes related to solar installations
- Ability to perform site assessments and evaluate the feasibility of installing solar panels
- Proficient in using software tools for designing and estimating solar systems
- Sales experience is a plus but not required
