Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon, is looking for a highly motivated, passionate and energetic individual to join the Cloud development team in San Ramon CA. WHAT YOU GET TO DO:
- Create and execute test plans and test cases for web-based and server software
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and performance testing
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, debug, and perform root cause analysis of issues and defects
- Create and improve automated regression tests
- Report, track, and verify bugs
- Contribute to QA team process improvement
- Work within the Agile scrum team
Desired Skills
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of software testing experience and/or GUI test automation experience
- 4+ years of in-depth experience with commercial automation tools like TestComplete, SilkTest, etc. and integration with desktop applications
- 2+ years of Windows standalone application testing that involves CAD or other 3D applications
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
- Experience with at least one scripting/programming language
- Hands-on experience in configuring, installing, and troubleshooting software and hardware
- Possess strong problem solving and analytical skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Background in graphical system, 3D geometry, Point Cloud software testing
- Experience with Sysinternals Suite, WinDbg
- 2+ years of experience in web-based and/or backend software testing
- Good understanding of Linux, bash, and network protocols
- Experience with public cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Azure, ...) and exposure to container technology (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
