Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Old Republic Risk Management (ORRM) is currently seeking a Software Quality Assurance Analyst to join its Information Services Team at its company headquarters in Brookfield, WI.  In general, the Software Quality Assurance Analyst will:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be comfortable making decisions with trade-offs and being able to confidently communicate the  trade-offs resulting from choosing several options
• Make process improvement suggestions related to Quality Assurance and testing
• Recommend prospective tools for improving Software Quality testing processes
• Other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

This position requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum five years relevant experience, or a combination of technical training, relevant certifications and a minimum eight years experience. 

Working as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst requires one to work independently and effectively within a fast-paced environment.  Proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products is necessary.  Other skills necessary include excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational and accurate proofreading skills, the ability to maintain accurate records, the ability to exercise discretion with confidential information, strong attention to detail, and the ability to use a variety of office equipment.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
This position requires one to sit for extended periods of time and stand and/or walk occasionally.  The position requires one to occasionally push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 40 pounds.  No personal protective equipment is required. Ergonomic equipment is available to employees.
