Software Product Management Intern

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Software Product Manager Intern in Silicon Valley, CA location. This intern will have the opportunity to gain exposure to software development, product and program management and the solar/battery industry with real-life initiatives, projects and resume boosting experience within a Fortune 500 company.

What do you get to do in this position?
The solar business unit has multiple Software Products and hardware products that when connected can provide a unique homeowner experience to help drive down the cost of electricity in the home and provide resilience in the event of grid disruptions. In this role you will:

• Collaborate with cloud engineers, UX/UI designers, software developers and customers to build products which will lead to customer success and delight
• Perform market research and competitive analysis to help refine roadmap
• Support definition of key features
• Facilitate meetings and collaborate with stakeholders for a successful product launch
• Create reports, dashboards and visualization for Product Releases
• Conduct research, design, and user testing activities during the life cycle of a project
• Coordinate Launch Assets
• Help manage Jira and Confluence project activities

This job might be for you if you are:

• Junior or Senior undergrad majoring in environmental science or engineering
• Beginning level of knowledge of product roadmaps and competitive analysis

The U.S. compensation for this full-time position is starting at $21 per hour for candidates located within the U.S. Individual pay is determined by several factors including knowledge, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
