About the team
S/4HANA Consumer Industries Cloud is a new business unit at SAP S/4HANA with a strong industry focus built on brand new cloud native technology.
As a dedicated unit and one of the most strategic investments in SAP globally, it takes a start-up approach to developing new cloud products and brings together the product strategy and Product Management for the consumer goods industry with all the necessary cloud business functions, such as architecture, engineering, and operations.

What you'll do:
Position title: SAP Industry Cloud Consumer Products iXP Intern - Product Management
Location: Newport Beach, California (Expectation of 3 days/week in office)
Expected start date: ~March 2024
Contract duration: 3-6 Months
In this role, you'll:
Work alongside our fulltime product managers and get a comprehensive understanding of the role. Responsibilities include:
Gathers and understand requirements from client feedback, co-innovation, user interviews or industry studies
Creates product-related artifacts and backlog
Accepts or rejects sprint results per epic, user story and backlog item
Collects & incorporates early feedback from Customers and other relevant stakeholders.
Ensures both the internal stakeholders & external ecosystem is aware of the developments by working closely with stakeholders and customer groups.
Lives innovative thinking and a product mindset.
Who you are:
We're looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
Educational requirements
- You have completed your undergraduate degree (ideally in business or engineering) and are looking to further your education through hands-on job internships. Often that's graduate students during the studies or shortly thereafter.
- Exposure to the consumer products industry through prior work is a plus.
