Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Lead Software Engineer with a strong background in project management to spearhead the development of our new e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding a team of talented developers in creating a robust and scalable delivery platform that meets the specific requirements of the cannabis industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of a high-quality e-commerce delivery platform.
• Manage a team of software developers, setting goals, and overseeing the project lifecycle from conception to deployment.
• Implement best practices in software development and project management.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Keep abreast of new technology trends and innovations in e-commerce and delivery.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years experience developing highly scalable and efficent web applications serving millions of users.
• BS degree in computer science or comparable professional experience
• Skilled in designing complex technical solutions, achieving consensus, and sharing knowledge within teams.
• Expertise in Javascript, Typescript, and React
• Proven track record to define and implement api specifications while collaborating with service teams, particularly with geolocation and payment processing systems
• Strong communication skills and experienced in mentoring junior developers
• Highly diligent, with the ability to see projects from beginning to end
• Deep understanding of web accessibility fundamentals
• Broad knowledge of web standards, along with keen insight into emerging technologies
