Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Software Engineer in San Leandro, CA.
Job Role and Responsibility: Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., CIO Technology Group is hiring a Lead Software Engineer to set IT strategy; enhance design, development, and operations of our Software Engineering systems; optimize the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provide information security; and enable continuous banking access with in-store, Online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargo’s global customers. Support the Software Development Kit/Application Programming Interface (SDK/API) initiatives within Gateway; Build interactive, responsive, and device specific ‘client-side’ experiences integrated within the APIs of Gateway channel; Leverage existing Content Management system and new front end technologies to build rich digital in-context experiences for customers as well as shared capabilities around risk and fraud mitigation, health monitoring, behavior tracking within the context of SDK; Work with technology and business teams to design, build, and implement SDKs/APIs; Foster a culture of innovation and high quality Software Engineering practices; Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment and interact with multiple stakeholders to deliver quality product in a timely manner; Provide guidance and establish standards for performance test initiatives that require a true end-to-end focus on ensuring client side, server tiers are performing as expected. Telecommuting is permitted up to 3 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related technical field. Position requires 5 years of experience in the job offered or with Software Engineering.

Specific skills required:

• 5 years of professional experience in software systems analysis, design, and web development
• 5 years of hands-on experience in MongoDB, JAVA, Spring, Hibernate, Storm, AWS (Buckets, EC2, Queues, Serverless), Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), and Hadoop
• 5 years of experience in building UI components using JavaScript, jQuery, Angular.js, and React.js
• 3 years of experience in building machine learning based solutions that involves natural language processing, deep learning, and computer vision
• Experience with each of the phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), developing projects from stage of concept to full implementation
• Experience building applications in Python using Django framework
• Experience with APIGEE, API building, UI, and Splunk.
