Summary:
The Life Fitness Internship Program 2024 is now accepting applicants in their junior and senior year. We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as summer interns. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance and develop valuable skills and contribute to Life Fitness' mission and goals.
Successful applicants will be assigned meaningful and challenging work suitable for their background. The program advisor(s) and mentors will meet with you regularly to identify and develop your summer objectives. All positions are PAID and based in the Chicagoland area (on-site required). The Internship Program will run for three (3) months.
Responsibilities:

• Actively contribute and have an impact in a business-critical project.
• Perform daily duties in software quality assurance of tablet and embedded devices and web and mobile testing.
• Collaborate with fellow interns on a ten-week-long group case study and present the results to senior leaders, stakeholders, and managers.
• Attend and participate in team meetings.
• Write, review and execute manual and automated test cases
• Research and evaluate tools and processes
• Analyze and report on equipment usage and operational data

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in full-time software development related (ex. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, etc.) bachelor's degree program, graduating in 2024 or 2025.
• Good academic standing, GPA 3.5 or higher.
• Initiative, positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt well to different situations and thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
