**We are currently looking for interns for our Spring (Feb-May) 2024 session. Each intern can expect to work 32 hrs/week during the 12-week program. Hours can be flexible during the normal business day throughout the week**
This role can sit in our offices in either Chicago or Buffalo Grove, Illinois or Lewisville, TX all of which include flexible and hybrid work options. This can also be a remote work opportunity based in either the Central or Eastern time zones.

Successful Interns of our Content Management and Design (CMDS) Team should have a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem solving. The CMDS Intern will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and with management.
The CMDSInternship is a 12-week program that requires 32 hours of work each week. Our program focuses on providing individuals with an opportunityto experience working in a corporate software development environment.CMDS Interns will gain exposure to a wide range of activities and experiences useful forfuturepotentialcareers in information technology, computer systems, accounting and financial industries.Specific project work will vary depending upon the time of year and the most critical needs ofCorptaxat the time of the internship program.
Areas of focus:
Technology:
Software Coding
Writing, testing and publishing software code (using Microsoft Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, C#, Alteryx, etc.) based on guidance from subject matter experts.
Quality Assurance
Performing quality assurance testing onthe tools and work necessary for Corptax'stax compliance software ensuring accurate results and updating software code as appropriate.
Microsoft Office Applications
Leveraging Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Power BI, etc. to improve existing tools and processes
Professional:
Project Management
Managing assigned tasks and work items, communicating status and assisting with managing projects.
Responsibilities:

Ensuring appropriate level of professionalism and ability to handle multiple tasksrequired in order to get a project completed.
Teaming Responsibilities:
Working well with fellow interns and other teams within Corptax.
Focusing on the success of other interns in addition to the success of yourself

Performingadditional tasks as necessary.
Required Education and Experience
Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Management major or similar focus
Proficiency with software packages (e.g.C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, Python, CSS, SQL, etc.).
Familiar with Microsoft Applications (e.g.Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint,etc.)
Experience working on project(s) to successful completion.
Demonstrable initiative and drive for success.
Strongoral and writtencommunication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work well in teams
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
