The Capacity, Supply Chain & Provisioning Engineering (CSCP-E) group within Azure is an exciting and fast evolving engineering group within Microsoft that powers Microsoft’s Cloud-First mission. Azure is going through hyper growth with an expectation to grow 10x in near future. We are responsible for designing, building and operating Microsoft Azure’s cloud infrastructure. CSCP-E Supply Chain Management is looking for an experienced, self-driven Software Engineer II. In this role, you will be building and transforming the solutions to aligning with the Supply Chain strategy supporting agility, efficiency and optimization. Key responsibilities include developing designs and deliver solutions that enable availability of product data across all functions of Supply Chain.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop solutions to provide product data across all different functions in Supply Chain
- Deliver well tested features across multiple services and other components
- Maintain services as they scale
- Learn quickly from your peers, projects and interactions with customers
- Use engineering best practices throughout the software development lifecycle to establish sustainable, secure systems that grow and support our business
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Problem solving, organization, and communication skills
- Coding, debugging and problem-solving skills
- Hands on experience building and maintaining REST microservices
- Familiarity with distributed systems and event driven architectures
- Great communication skills to collaborate cross-group and work effectively within the team
