Our company is rapidly growing, and as part of that growth, we are looking for an organized and experienced Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. We are specifically seeking individuals who have a strong technical background, plus a passion for and understanding of PC gaming. This role will be focusing on building solutions for internal Glorious systems, with a strong focus on our CMS and Shopify.
This position reports to the Software Technical Manager. The person in this role will work closely with the rest of our Engineering team, and cross-collaboratively with our Marketing teams.
Compensation
The starting annual salary for this role is $60-75,000 USD depending on knowledge, skills, experience, education, and geographical location.

Key Responsibilities
- Build, test, and deploy new software features or updates that enhance the Glorious Shopify experience
- Manage our Shopify theme, apps, and integrations
- Build and update unique software solutions for our internal team (including PWAs, custom APIs, and new vendor integrations)
- Build additional new software projects
- Collaborate with Marketing team to document analytics for the Glorious affiliate program
- Provide general development assistance to members of the Community Management and broader Marketing teams as requested
Requirements
- Professional fluency in English
- A minimum of 4 hours overlap with CST daily
- An advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technological field, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of professional development experience or in a similar technical role
- Experience developing in/for Shopify and with the Liquid template language is required; experience with Sanity is also a plus
- Experience with NodeJS/NPM/React
- Experience with C#/.NET
- Experience with REST/GraphQL Architecture
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with QA and automated testing tools
- Advanced knowledge of HTML/CSS and UI/UX design concepts
- Ability to integrate with APIs
- Familiarity with or experience with using IDE
- Experience working in an Agile development environment with TDD, with CI/CD pipelines, and knowledge of quality code and design principles
- A passion for and understanding of PC gaming concepts, peripherals, and the consumer market
