You will help design, implement the core backend services that integrate with various other enterprise services including Large Language models and bring Gen AI services.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong experience and understanding of core Java concepts
- Expertise in building highly scalable enterprise grade microservices in Java and Java based frameworks like Spring
- Skilled in writing highly performant and clean Java code
- Skilled at using test driven development to empower CI/CD workflows
- Collaborative mindset to brainstorm on architectural patterns to arrive at the best approach
- Communicating effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams
- Keen interest in keeping up with the latest in the industry
- Experience integrating with Generative AI, Large Language models is a plus
- Experience working on platform engineering or a Developer Experience Platform is a plus
DESCRIPTION
Developer Experience Platform team provides frameworks, services and developer tools to internal engineering teams in Apple to accelerate their SDLC. We are working on a Generative AI based Developer Experience Platform for internal use and assist our app development team. This role involves multiple aspects on the backend, like ensuring LLM based code generation is accurate, and integrating with various enterprise services. You will collaborate with Machine Learning engineers, Software engineers, and other data scientists to deliver and end to end solution for this platform. This is a hands-on role for developing and supporting new and existing features. This role requires partnering with cross-functional teams to effectively coordinate the complex interdependencies inherent in application development. A successful candidate has strong technical skills and is eager to create intuitive user experiences; they have a keen eye for the details that surprise and delight our customers.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or similar field
