As a Junior Web Developer, you will have the opportunity to design, build, test, maintain, and have a direct and meaningful impact on the roadmap for our suite of applications.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, troubleshoot and maintain applications for both front-end (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and the back-end (PHP)
- Collaborate with team in identifying and solving company driven goals.
- Learn, understand and use PHP and JavaScript frameworks used by the application; contribute to development, troubleshooting and maintenance of custom framework as needed
- Review app and feature code, and plan future API upgrades with the development team
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
Qualifications:
- Experience with PHP frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel
- Experience working with popular front-end frameworks and libraries such as React, Next.js, Gatsbyjs
- You are able to debug issues quickly in a full stack environment
- Experience working in an agile development environment, such as Scrum or Kanban, and familiarity with project management tools like Jira or Trello
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of AWS services (SAM/CDK, Amplify, Step Functions, Event Bus, DynamoDB)
- Understanding of serverless design patterns and workflows. serverlessland.com
- Ability to design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs, as well as familiarity with third-party API integration
- Proficiency in writing unit tests, integration tests, and conducting code reviews to ensure code quality and performance
