Security Clearance Required: Active Top Secret/SCI
Position Type/Standard Work Hours: Full-time/40 hours per week
Summary/Objective:
This is a full-time on-site position that will lead the research, development, and sustainment of systems and software capabilities for intelligence community implementation and will support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) by performing activities focused on assisting the Air Force in moving forward with digital transformation.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced engineering knowledge to the technical design, development, and implementation of complex programming projects.
- Write well designed, testable and efficient code that meets technical requirements.
- Develop solutions unique to client needs.
- Interface with clients.
- Prepare and generate technical reports and other documentation pertinent to the position.
- Give technical direction to lower-level programmers.
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in engineering, computer science, or information technology.
- At least ten (10) years’ experience in a software development or Software Engineering role.
- Must have an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Proven experience Software Design, Development, Test, and Evaluation.
- Proven knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Effective team player with highly proficient customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lead projects with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
This position does not supervise the work of others.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to operate a computer and other standard office equipment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, 80%.
Travel:
Very little.
