What You'll Get to Do:
As a CACI-Wexford Software Developer and Mentor, your primary functions will be to guide and mentor US Army Soldiers to craft innovative software solutions directly supporting the US Army Special Operations Command, Force Modernization Center. When not mentoring Soldiers, you will serve as a CACI-Wexford Front End Software Developer. In this limited capacity, you will develop innovative software solutions in direct support of the US Army Special Operations Command, Force Modernization Center (UFMC).
More About the Role:
As a Software Developer and Mentor, you will oversee the Software Development cycle and advise US Army military Software Development teams, fostering their growth in technical excellence. Your proficiency in industry best practices and your exemplary leadership will be instrumental in transforming soldiers into proficient developers.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance
- Must meet DoD 8140 IAT Level II or IAM Level I
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree and 3 years' experience, Associate Degree and 4 years' experience or Highschool Diploma and 6 years' experience
- Experience with programming languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript or Typescript, and related frameworks like React, Angular, and Spring.
- Proficiency in webpage design utilizing HTML and CSS.
- Understanding and implementation of automated testing development, including unit and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with building Docker images and working in Git-based version control systems.
- Experience in effectively managing and coordinating multiple projects and phases simultaneously, leveraging Agile methodologies with a strong emphasis on XP (Extreme Programming).
- Proficient in cross-functional collaboration, actively engaging in product design, and fostering meaningful interactions with users and stakeholders.
- Possess the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing, to include thorough technical documentation.
- Experience in working closely with Software Development teams.
- Proven track record of mentoring Software Developers and guiding Junior Developers.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Experience using JavaScript visualization libraries; familiarity with Material UI is preferred.
- Experience with Software Development against Cloud Services, with Azure/AWS preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously with government oversight and effectively collaborate within a joint working environment. Stay current on important industry and customer trends to ensure our applications are delivering relevant solutions.
- Experience with Gitlab CI/CD pipeline creation, or Jenkins.
- Experience with testing frameworks, including Jasmine, Karma, or Selenium.
- Experience with command-line scripting.
- Experience with network security, including access and authorization for PKI and chain.
- Ability to work independently with some government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $89,500-$188,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
