POSITION SUMMARY

EDRAY is a managed services platform for international shippers with an unmatched mix of innovation and technology. Our mission is to utilize our deep industry experience to build forward thinking software solutions that optimize operations, enhance visibility, and drive efficiency.

As an SDET at EDRAY, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address software issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Software Development, a passion for quality assurance, and a deep understanding of the logistics industry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Test Automation Development:

  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable automated test frameworks to validate software functionality.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

Test Planning and Strategy:

  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and quality assurance teams to define comprehensive test plans and strategies.
  • Identify test scenarios, prioritize testing efforts, and create test cases that effectively cover functional and non-functional requirements.

Defect Identification and Resolution:

  • Conduct thorough root cause analysis of identified defects and work collaboratively with development teams to facilitate timely resolutions.
  • Document and track software defects, ensuring accurate and detailed reporting.

Performance Testing:

  • Develop and execute performance and load testing to identify and address software scalability and performance issues.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in Software Development and testing.
  • Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of the testing and development lifecycle.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

  • Proven experience in Software Development and test automation using C#.
  • Proficiency with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test automation tools, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Experience with testing web-based applications, APIs, and databases.
  • Familiarity with logistics and supply chain management concepts is a plus.
  • Energetic, committed, and self-driven personality
  • A bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
