APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Design, develop, and maintain software systems and solutions, new services, tools, or software for testing and automation. Write high performance, reusable, and modular code, working with application teams to identify opportunities to build common re-usable frameworks. Test and improve existing codebase - review software code to identify defects, build and execute unit tests, run static code analysis to ensure code quality, run performance, load/stress tests, and validate non-functional aspects of new software. Troubleshoot, identify, and research software to recommend software innovations. Author corresponding documentation for software maintenance and sustainability. Convert business requirements into system requirements and application design specifications. Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and identify design and engineering impacts, establishing optimal implementations and user experience. 40 hours/week.
