Warrant Technologies is seeking a Software Developer for our government customer in Crane, IN

Position Description:

Warrant Technologies is looking for a Software Developer to join our team. Position Responsibilities:

Supports the software development team to provide network, software, and system engineering solutions for expeditionary systems and product lines at NSWC Crane.

Participate in the design and development of expeditionary systems to include sensor integration, system of system integrations, information assurance, prototyping, and product sustainment.

Works within a development team and participates in daily stand up activities peer reviews, and product demos.

CSWF Proficiency Level: Intermediate

2 years experience with Java, python, and C++

1 year experience with XML

2 years experience developing in a modern Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment to include BASH

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

TCSWF Specialty Area: 62/621 Software Development

CSWF Proficiency Level: Intermediate

Experience with C, C++, and Java

Bonus for Python experience

Experience developing in Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment

Experience with databases

Database development and SQL experience strongly preferred

Experience with network design

Experience with EBRISS/ECORE a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Experience with driver development and integration in expeditionary systems.

Must have proven experience using git version control within a team environment.

Ability to troubleshoot network issues using tcpdump and wireshark a plus.

Design of architectural and system diagrams using tools such as draw.io and visio

Secure Technical Implementation Guidance (STIG) and security hardening of systems.

Good communication skills.

Position Requirements:

MUST be a US Citizen

Must possess active DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one

Active SECRET Clearance

Education and Certification:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 3 - 5 years’ experience

Possess ONE of the following active certifications: CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP, CSSLP, CISSP, ECSP or SECURE C++
