Duties:
- Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals and families, individuals facing mental health challenges, substance abuse issues, or domestic violence, is preferred.
- Collaborate with other professionals and service providers, to coordinate referrals and support services
- Supervise and monitor the progress of clients
- Provide mentoring and guidance to parents, focusing on child welfare
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients and promote positive change
- Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines are essential.
- Experience in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, is highly desired.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a closely related field from an accredited institution is preferred, or a minimum of four years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and resources pertaining to social work practice
- Ability to facilitate support groups
- Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems or other relevant software is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Cultural competency and sensitivity towards diverse populations is essential.
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle challenging situations and provide ongoing support to clients.
