    JOB DESCRIPTION

    ISG, Nectar.inc is looking to hire a Field Placement Coordinator. Field Placement Coordinators are relationship builders who are responsible for establishing partnerships with Social Work agencies to assist MSW graduate students in completing their Field Placement rotations. As a Placement Coordinator, you will spend your day forming relationships with the clinical placement sites where students can acquire hands-on learning in their field. Our priority is always on the relationships built at the student, site, and university levels to ensure a quality field experience if provided to our students.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Ensures student success through on-time placement and matching with Social Work agencies to avoid any lapse or delays in course progression
    • Manage relationships with existing clinical agency partners to ensure successful clinical experiences for all students.
    • Maintain complete knowledge and understanding of our Partners' curriculum and programs and clearly explain these curricula and programs to clinical partners.
    • Works closely with university partners in identifying needs/concerns that arise with MSW student placement.
    • Serve as liaisons between the college, facility, and students for Social Work Field Placement.
    • Researches new potential sites for students to complete their Social Work clinical rotations.
    • Achieves Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to student placement.
    • Provides excellent customer service and maintains professional communication with key stakeholders via phone, Zoom, and/or email.
    • Maintains an updated database of clinical social services agencies in multiple online systems while maintaining confidentiality.
    • Documents and tracks clinical placement assignments.
    • Adheres to company and university partners' data privacy policies.

    Desired Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution (required)
    • 2+ years experience in higher education or Social Work
    • Customer service experience in a metrics-driven environment supporting students
    • Proactive, self-starter with excellent time management skills who will take ownership of their job, and is disciplined to independently plan workflow to meet deadlines
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slack), Salesforce, or other Field Placement software
    • Professional and effective communication skills, outstanding customer service background, and highly organized and accomplished at problem-solving in a metrics-driven environment
    • Comfortable communicating and establishing rapport in a professional manner via phone and email

    The requirements for success in a virtual work-at-home role include:

    • Workspace – Must be able to provide a dedicated, confidential workspace which includes a door that can be closed for privacy
    • High-speed internet – Must provide employee-paid, high-speed internet service (5MB or higher connection speed); no dial-up or satellite dish connections
    • Must have a working desktop or laptop that is supported by Mac or Windows operating systems
