Coastal Child Care is a well known high quality nanny and babysitting agency in many cities of Virginia and North Carolina. We searching to expand our staff with a "Nanny Placement Coordinator." This position is hybrid-remote and will require two or more in person days at our event venue. The event venue will host indoor toddler play two days a week and will also be a hosting spot for birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers, and more. The event venue is located at 131 Oak Street Moyock, NC 27958.
This position will be around 15-25 hours a week starting as soon as possible. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and occasional weekend availability for in person days are mandatory for this role but may have some flexibility as needed. You are able to bring your child with you these days and allow them to play in our space. Some weekends may not be needed, and some weekends will only require a few hours. General in person hours will be Tuesdays 7:30-1:30 and Wednesdays 8:00am-2:00pm (subject to change). Weekends will be flexible but you will still need to have some weekends every month available.
The remote job tasks can be completed on a mostly flexible schedule. Nanny Placement Coordinator tasks that can be done remotely would facilitating family interviews, reviewing family requests, and collaborating with other team members to find the right nanny for each family. Tuesday and Wednesday responsibilities would be welcoming families in the building for toddler play, checking in on children and their families, providing tours for potential event clients, and maintaining a clean and organized space. Responsibilities on the weekend will mostly be cleaning up after events, unless a toddler play day is hosted on the weekend. Then same duties as week days will apply. On in person days you will be working alongside either the owner of Coastal Child Care or other Coastal Child Care employees.
Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and a confident/friendly interview presence are required. Past childcare/casual babysitting/motherhood/etc. experience along with Nanny Placement experience is strongly PREFERRED for this position, but not required.
