The Social Media Specialist role at Mitutoyo America is crucial for expanding our online presence, requiring not only a knack for creative content creation across social platforms but also a flair for engaging both behind and in front of the camera. What You'll Do:
• Content Creation & Management:
• Craft daily posts across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, using Adobe Photoshop and Premiere for high-quality visuals and video content.
• Collaborate with the Photography, Videography, and Graphics teams for cohesive content planning and execution.
• Engagement & Community Building:
• Foster active community engagement, manage responses, and build a loyal brand following through personalized interaction and community-focused strategies.
• Analytics & Reporting:
• Work with the Digital Marketing team to track, analyze, and report Social Media performance using Google Analytics and platform-specific tools to guide strategy adjustments.
• Strategic Collaboration:
• Assist in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies through Social Media, aligning with overall marketing goals.
• Professional Development & Collaboration:
• Stay informed of Social Media trends and incorporate innovative practices into the social strategy.
Skills You Need:
Required:
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop and Premiere) for content creation.
• Demonstrated experience with Social Media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube) and management of brand accounts.
• Strong writing, communication, and visual storytelling skills.
• Familiarity with Social Media analytics and reporting tools, including Google Analytics.
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
• Experience in a technical or product-oriented industry, with the ability to quickly learn and communicate complex product features.
• Comfort and proficiency in appearing in front of the camera for the creation of engaging video content, showcasing the ability to connect with the audience in a dynamic and personable manner.
• Proven track record of growing Social Media channels and fostering community engagement.
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt strategies based on analytics insights.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, able to work full-time in an in-person environment.

Required Education:

Monday - Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM
Travel: 5-10% travel required, to attend trade shows, customers, and MAC showrooms.
