As the Part-time Social Media and Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for curating and executing our Social Media strategy across various platforms. Additionally, you will support other marketing efforts, including website updates, blog posts, email marketing, SEO optimization, and more. Your primary goal will be to build brand awareness, drive engagement, and expand our online community, while also contributing to various marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Create and schedule compelling and shareable content for our Social Media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others, aligned with our brand voice and identity.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on our Social Media channels in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay updated with industry trends and recommend innovative strategies to improve our Social Media presence and performance.
- Support in updating and maintaining the company website with fresh and relevant content.
- Generate engaging blog posts and articles on topics related to our industry and services.
- Assist in planning and executing email marketing campaigns to reach our target audience.
- Perform basic SEO optimization to improve the company's online visibility and search rankings.
- Utilize Social Media analytics and website metrics to track performance, analyze data, and generate insights for future content and marketing strategy improvement.
- Monitor competitor activity on Social Media and online platforms and suggest ways to differentiate and stay ahead in the market.
- Report on key Social Media metrics, website traffic, and marketing campaign performance.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in college pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of various Social Media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Familiarity with Social Media management tools, scheduling, and analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Basic graphic design skills and proficiency in creating engaging visual content.
- Understanding of SEO principles and experience in optimizing website content.
- Ability to generate creative and innovative ideas for Social Media campaigns and marketing strategies.
- Basic knowledge of content marketing, including blog writing and email marketing.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Willingness to adapt to the fast-paced nature of the experiential industry and learn about new trends and technologies.
- Prior experience with Social Media marketing or relevant internships is a plus.
