Role Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- You should have strong writing skills and excellent attention to detail.
- You should be an outgoing, extroverted person who enjoys interacting with others online.
- We’d like you to have previous experience with running a public social media page, whether in the form of a business page, public figure page, or otherwise.
- Ability to plan and execute tasks independently is required.
- Ability to comfortably use a Windows PC with limited guidance is required.
- Ability to navigate and use common social media platform tools (I.e. Meta Business Suite, Twitter for Business, Youtube Studio) and confidence to adapt to platforms you may be less familiar with (i.e ThomasNet, Google Business, Trustpilot) is required.
- Ability to comfortably use Adobe Photoshop + Camera RAW and Illustrator without guidance are basic minimum requirements for this role.
- Ability to comfortably use any of Premiere Pro, After Effects, Animate, and InDesign without guidance are preferred skills.
- We do not expect you to be a master of all aspects of Adobe CC but the more programs you’re comfortable in, the better.
- You should be comfortable with operating a Canon DSLR camera.
- You should be comfortable working in an active industrial environment around heavy machinery. While most of your work will take place inside our clean & quiet office, looking at samples of products or getting a picture will require going out onto the warehouse floor.
- You should be comfortable developing a general knowledge of material handling equipment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Schedule regular content updates to our social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube Community Page.
- Plan and execute long-term campaigns showcasing our ongoing projects across platforms.
- Maximize visibility and introduce new prospects to our brand through targeted, small-scale advertising campaigns on Meta and Twitter platforms.
- Manage published content (including images, copy, and occasional videos) and ensure engagement with comments, likes, and messages.
- Create, updating, and tracking inventory for listings on Facebook Marketplace & eBay, establishing communication with inbound leads from these platforms.
- Interact with visitors and leads across our social media platforms, forwarding more advanced inquiries to an appropriate person if necessary.
- Track and report on social media conversions & attributions to identify effective strategies.
- Your primary task is to design unique, eye-catching images, graphics, animations, and assets for use on our website, social media, and physical advertising.
- Given our niche industry, accurate & useful stock assets for our products are generally unavailable. You will need to be able to design assets that are accurate, informative, and nice to look at.
- Some day-to-day tasks we’d expect you to be able to perform include:
- Photographing a product, touching it up, and removing the background
- Designing a thumbnail for a blog post or Youtube video
- Designing a vector graphic for use on the website
- Creating vector illustrations of products in our catalog
- Creating a 2D animation of a product such as powered conveyor or a forklift
- Editing pre-recorded videos from a jobsite for use on Youtube, Tiktok, etc.
- Creating eye-catching display ads for use in existing and future ad campaigns and on our social media pages.
- Mocking up website elements / layouts for implementation by a developer
- Our long-term goal is to develop a cohesive brand identity, which you will be responsible for cultivating.
