Position Overview
As Social Media Manager, you will take full ownership of the big picture strategy and day-to-day execution to grow the reach, engagement, and ROI of Barbell Logic’s brand on all Social Media platforms (including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Pinterest). You’ll be responsible for creating and implementing a Social Media strategy that is on-brand in tone and imagery, while being balanced among educational/informative, spotlights (clients & coaches), and promotion/positioning of service offerings.
You’ll report directly to the CIO while working closely to the Editor-in-Chief, Head Administrator, and Brand Manager to:
Set growth and engagement goals and strategies by channel
Set and keep a consistent and balanced Social Media posting schedule according to established goals and strategies
Propose, lead, and implement special initiatives such as Instagram takeovers or special content focuses when appropriate and consistent with goals
Monitor Social Media hashtags and/or keywords for engagement and content opportunities
Monitor and promptly reply to comments and messages on all Social Media platforms, and engage in comments of like-minded content creators to grow brand awareness
Create and manage paid advertising campaigns
Identify potential connections with like-minded Social Media influencers and/or brands via engagement on Social Media platforms
Utilize company tools including HubSpot, Sprout Social, and Basecamp
Provide on-time reporting & insights to communicate effectiveness of strategies and key metrics

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred
Expertise in managing Social Media accounts and creating/optimizing content specific to each channel
Proven track record in growing audience size and click-through rates on multiple channels, including maximizing results via paid social strategies
Experience with establishing, tracking, and reporting key metrics
Experience and/or knowledge of strength training / fitness industry is a plus
